Detailed Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrival Kathmandu. Transfer to the Hotel. Evening detail briefing about Kailash Manasarovar Yatra. Overnight at Hotel
Day 02 : Half day Kathmandu Sightseeing, After lunch group will departure to After lunch group will departure to Kodari.2500m – 130km (Nepal-China Border) by private tourist coach. Overnight stay at Guest house.
Day 03 : Early morning after breakfast at 8am Chinese border formalities and passes through. Drive from Kodari to Nyalam 3700mtr 35 Km / 2 hrs. having rest overnight at Guest House.
Day 04 : Nayalam, day for acclimatization on 3700mtr.
Day 05 : Drive to Dongba (4250m) 332km / 7-8 hrs. En-route, pass through Lalung la Pass which is 16,000 feet above sea level, and Lake Pigutso and River Brahmaputra. Overnight at guest house.
Day 06 : Drive to Lake Manasarovar (4500m) Chiu 422km / 6-7 hrs. Today beautiful day drive to Chiu Manasarovar Lake crossing over Mayum La and Chhongo Lake one the way. On the south of Lake is Mt. Gurla Mandhata (7728m) and Holy Kailash on the north. Lake Manasarovar is considered the holiest of all of Tibet’s many lakes.
Day 07 : Full day on Holy banks of Manasarover. Yatris will perform Manasarover Parikrama by Jeeps / bus. Dinner and overnight at Guest House/Tents.
Day 08 : After early breakfast, depart to Tarboche (starting point for Kailash Parikrama). Trek to Driraphuk (12 km. / 7 - 8 hrs.). Packed Lunch. Dinner and overnight camping.
Day 09 : After early breakfast, start trekking to Zutulphuk via Dolma Pass (highest point of entire journey, 5750 m). The distance is 18 km with approximate time taken 9 - 10 hrs. Packed Lunch. Dinner and overnight camping.
Day 10 : After early breakfast, trek further for 10 km. (4 - 5 hrs.) to arrive at the ending point of Parikrama where jeeps shall be waiting to drive the back to Paryang or Dongba. Packed lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at Guest House/Tents.
Day 11 : After early breakfast, proceed to Nyalam. 232km / 6-7 hrs. Overnight at Guesthouse. Lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at Guest House
Day 12 : Drive back to Kathmandu 165 km / 7 hours. Arriving back at the hotel in Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel
Day 13 : As per your return flight transfer to the airport to the Destinations.

Mode of transportation :
The kora (parikarma) of Mt. Kailash is to be performed by foot/yaks (Optional). It takes about two & a half day (42 km). Rest of the Journey by Jeep / Bus.
Accommodation:
Accommodation & all meals are inclusive. accommodation will be provided in Hotels/Guest houses OR Tents ( as per Availability).
Medical Facilities :
Very few medical facility is available in Tibet. That too is very distantly located. Our Guide having certificate of paramedic courses will accompany the group, who take care of only few Medical issues at High altitudes. Personal Medical kit & medicines are recommended.
Guide :
Tibetan Guide will accompany the group, Supported by Tour Leader from India Or Nepal.
Tour Cost:
US $ 1600 + tax Per Person for Non Indian passport Holders OR INR 85,000 + tax for Indian passoprt holders. . (This is 2013 rate, Tour cost is subject to change depending on the Rates announced by TAR - Tibet Autonomous Region for 2014).
